What is Squid AI?
Squid AI provides a turnkey platform for delivering AI agents. A AI agent is a powerful application that leverages a large language model (LLMs) like GPT or other models to understand and generate human-readable text or content based on input data, user interactions, or external information sources. Agents can operate as copilots to help employees get work done, automate basic business processes with or without human intervention, analyze reports, and more. For inspiration, check out Squid’s use cases page.
Focus on building a great app instead of infrastructure and boilerplate code
If you can build an application, you can build an AI agent with Squid. The Squid platform enables you to safely build, test, and ship AI agents with the following features:
A serverless hosting environment. Squid is infrastructure agnostic and can be deployed in AWS and Google Cloud platform. If you’re interested in taking Squid on-premises, contact us.
Instant data connectors. Squid enables you to securely connect LLMs to structured and unstructured data in minutes. The platform provides schema autodiscovery and endpoint mapping, and handles all of the translation under the hood. It connects to data across multiple databases, data warehouses, REST and GraphQL APIs, and data sources like Slack and Google Docs. You can see all of our connectors in the Squid Console.
Your data is always private, and will never be used to train models.
A variety of LLM options. Squid makes it easy to integrate with all of the major LLMs, and makes it easy to switch as needed. It supports OpenAI, Gemini Pro, Claude, as well as your own custom LLM.
A business logic layer. Use Squid’s backend SDK to customize your agent’s behavior with executables, AI functions, rate/quota limiting, triggers, and schedulers to customize the behavior of your AI agent. Squid currently supports TypeScript.
Advanced security. Protect your data from unauthorized access at all times. Squid integrates with your authentication provider of choice. It provides control access to your different entities, including AI agents, databases, backend functions, and APIs.
Audit logs. Audit logs are in the console, and can be exported to NewRelic or DataDog as needed.
Powerful RAG functionality. Squid has two forms of RAG. It supports traditional RAG, and manages a vector database on your behalf out of the box. Squid also supports Query with AI, a powerful real-time architecture that reads your database schema and provides human-readable explanations of your data.
